Perhaps a little overpriced, but a lovely novelty gift idea or to buy for yourself. You can prop the phone at different angles if you use a wedge of paper as well. But the little trunk holds an iPhone perfectly.

This is a really cute little phone holder, unfortunately there was a natural flaw in the wood which made it look like it had a big dirty smudge on it so not suitable to give as a gift to someone. item returned but will buy again once the stores are open and I can (hopefully) inspect before I buy it.
