1 white shirt, three ways to wear it
The 9-to-5 shirt
‘Neatly tucked into a printed skirt, this keeps your work look smart while adding colour and personality (workwear doesn’t have to be boring),’ says Lynda. ‘Roll back the sleeves to make it less polished and top off with accessories, tailoring your look to how formal your place of work is.’
‘Silver jewellery is having a massive trending moment and keeps it office-appropriate, so feel free to layer on a couple of bracelets. A smart woven bag for essentials will leave your hands free to carry your laptop and on-the-go mocha.’
The weekend shirt
‘We love this style of shirt buttoned up to the top, but with a few buttons undone from the bottom - then go for a half tuck on one side for a new look,’ recommends Lynda. ‘Washed-out denim jeans are still the go-to for an off-duty summer outfit, but as always we like to add some colour, and we can do this with footwear and accessories!’
Lynda has tipped crochet bags to be a huge hit this summer, ‘Off-duty weekending is all about colour and fun, so ditch the formal handbag for a relaxed tote and think about bright beaded jewellery to liven up your look. Pop on your sunglasses and off you go.’
The holiday shirt
'This is where your shirt gets versatile,’ says Lynda, ‘as it also acts as a cover-up layer over swimwear, or over a neat vest and shorts to protect from the sun when sightseeing. An elegant visor and some metallic sliders finish off this Riviera-chic look. Our design team have had fun this summer creating woven beach bags emblazoned with their favourite beachside tipples, and this is a great way to inject some personality to your outfit.’
‘Keep your shirt unbuttoned and open like a lightweight jacket, or tie it at your waist to add shape and show off the belt detail on your shorts. And then it’s time to bring your look together with some sparkle and colour. Dive into our holiday jewellery collection for beachy beads, stacking bangles and all sorts of destination pieces featuring fish, shells, seahorses and more.’
